For crew members, your manager must attest they have obtained your documented consent before adding your phone number to CrewHero. By having your phone number added to the system, you expressly consent to receive operational text messages from CrewHero.
**Message Types:** We send only work-related operational messages including: crew assignment updates, shift schedule changes, maintenance ticket alerts, time clock reminders, and other internal communications relevant to your work. Message frequency varies based on operational needs (typically 0-10 messages per week).
**Opt-Out:** You may opt out at any time by: (1) Replying STOP to any message, (2) Updating preferences in your CrewHero account settings, or (3) Emailing support@crewhero.app. Opting out will not affect your employment or access to CrewHero.
**No Marketing:** We do not send marketing, promotional, or sales content via SMS. All messages are strictly operational and work-related.
**Costs:** CrewHero does not charge for SMS services. Standard message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier plan.
**Help:** For SMS help, reply HELP to any message or contact support@crewhero.app.
**Data Sharing:** We share your phone number only with our SMS service provider (Twilio) solely to deliver these operational messages. We never sell, rent, or share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes.
**Data Retention:** We retain phone numbers as long as you have an active CrewHero account or as required by law for legal and operational purposes.
